The practice has been established for 18 years is located at Bollington Medical Centre treating both Private and NHS patients.

We can now accept NHS referrals for patients registered with GP’s in Eastern Cheshire eg. Macclesfield, Prestbury, Alderley Edge, Tytherington, Poynton Disley etc. as well as our Bollington Medical Centre patients.

We also treat private patients. We are registered with most private healthcare insurance providers and you do not need to be referred by a GP or be registered at Bollington to make a private appointment.

We are a friendly and experienced team of chartered physiotherapists who treat patients with musculoskeletal problems.

You may benefit from Physiotherapy if you are suffering with:-

-     Back and neck pain or stiffness,

-     Trapped nerves eg sciatica

-     Sprains and strains of ligaments

-     Tendonitis

-     Joint problems such as knees and shoulders

-     Arthritis or rheumatism

-     Work, hobby, DIY, sports related problems

-     Patients requiring rehabilitation eg following surgery or when out of plaster

Please phone reception at the surgery on 01625 462593 or use the online booking in system if you are a Bollington Medical Centre patient

Please note you will be charged for a private physio appointment. We accept payment by card, cash, cheque or by arrangement via your private health insurance.

To make an NHS appointment you can either:-

-     refer yourself by filling in a self referral physio form

-     the paper form can be obtained from reception at the surgery. Please complete the form taking note of the self referral criteria that advises you if this service is not appropriate for you. Then hand it into a receptionist and after screening you will be contacted with an appointment.

-   the online form can be found at Please fill in the form paying attention to their exclusion criteria for the service. You will then be contacted with an appointment.

-     GP referral. Your GP will be able give you an appointment if they consider you would benefit from physio

Please give more than 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment so that it not wasted and can be given to another patient.
